Do you know what I want to have as my career in the future? Well, one of them is singer. To be a singer it's obvious that I need to participate in a particular type of audition, such as KpopStar. KpopStar(케이팝스타) Survival Audition K-pop Star (Korean: 서바이벌 오디션 K팝 스타) is a South Korean reality TV competition show where the three largest entertainment/talent agencies in Korea hold worldwide auditions to find the next potential K-Pop stars. Preliminary auditions were held from around the world in countries such as China, USA, and Brazil. Auditions were also held in Europe. The final winner will debut with the company of his or her choice (SM, YG, or JYP), along with a cash prize of three hundred million won (approx. 300,000 U.S. dollars), two brand new vehicles, opportunities to become commercial models and casting in dramas, and many more. I strongly believe that I should try for KpopStar2 because I want to know how good I am in singing/dancing, learn new skills, and be a singer.
First, I want to know how good I am. In my school, my music teacher says that I am really good at singing and she gave me very good for singing test. However, I am not sure if what other people say is right. To myself, I don't think I am an outstanding singer, but I might be. By attending this audition, I can surely and accurately know my level because all the judges are either CEO or singer of different entertainment groups in Korea. Due to the fact that I am still young, if I try this audition and know if I am bad or good at singing I can either choose to be a singer and practice singing or be a diplomat and study more. It's better to make decisions better especially if it's about my future.
Second, I want to learn new skills. What I've noticed about audition program is that you don't just compete with other people, but you also learn new helpful skills. Any entertainment group who cast me during the survival audition will surely teach me some skills or make me better at singing to have me keep winning. Well, it's kind of like learning new things for free which I think is great!
Third, I want to be a singer. I say that I want to be a diplomat but somehwere deep inside
